I recently installed lineage 2 c5 and updated the game as usual. Once i updated and ran the exe file, the game would crash and report 'L2.exe has stopped working' and it says the same for Nprotect GameGuard. I have heard of this problem with maple story before and i am aware of a disscussion between microsoft and nprotect upon this issue. I was just wondering when the update is going to be released for compatibility betweengameguard and vista. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers, anantha92.

Plx do share where any NCWest official said that it's ok to disable GG I am just sharing what people who hate GG with a passion have reported to me. 'Allowed' means that you can actually login past the character selection screen with GG disabled (exact wording of what I was told), not that it was officially endorsed. Obviously, official NC could simply remove it from client instead. As a matter of fact, it would be high time to remove GG, it just slows down L2 and does nothing else of value. I know this discussion keeps being brought up but nothing ends up being done, but really.
