Can't get EZ Drummer to work First off, I'm completely new to this, and thanks to anyone who can offer help! I installed EZDrummer today, but I did NOT get an authorization screen the first time I opened it in Producer 8.5, as I was told I would in the installation instructions. Nonetheless, EZDrummer seems to insert as a Soft Synth just fine. As per what I've read on another forum, when I insert EZDrummer, I check Midi Source and First Audio Output in the Insert Soft Synths Options screen. Kal Ho Naa Ho Hd Movie here.

I then see a midi track with EZ Drummer, and the Audio track to which this midi track is routed. I load a patch, and hear NOTHING.

First of all check the EZdrummer midi track to see if you have turned on Input Monitoring. On SONAR versions prior to 8.5 it is the button between the S and the RD button. On 8.5 it's the button between the S and the A button. If that is on then check the window box on the lower right corner of the EZdrummer GUI. If you have the Pop/Rock kit loaded it should say 268MB.

I'm assuming you have tried to audition some grooves, triggered EZdrummer via a keyboard or mouse clicked one of the drums on the GUI. I'm puzzled why you didn't get an authorization assuming the software has never been authorized before on your computer. Give us a few details about your system and operating system. EZdrummer is not compatible with SONAR 8.5 x64. The Bitbridge 2 is broken in regards to Toontracks products. The good news is that the 64 bit version of EZdrummer will be release shortly.

Otherwise the fix is to buy and alternate bridging application like JBridge which is working. The 32 bit version of SONAR 8.5 works fine.
